One of the most common questions we get from first-time customers is, “How much do my clothes actually weigh?” While there’s no exact answer for everyone, we’ve seen some helpful trends over time.
For a typical individual with about a week’s worth of laundry, the average is usually around 15–20 pounds. For a family of four, it tends to be 30–40 pounds, especially since kids’ clothes weigh less than adults’.
Other things that can affect the weight include how often you change bed linens, and how many bath and hand towels you go through in a week.

All laundry is dried on medium heat, unless otherwise requested, to protect fabric integrity.
Your items are professionally folded, packaged neatly, and kept separate from other orders.
Final inspection ensures everything is up to our high standards. Then it’s ready for pickup.
We use brand new, top-of-the-line eco-friendly washers and dryers that sense and weigh each load to use only the water needed. Our facility is cleaned daily, machines are maintained with weekly deep cleans, and lint traps are cleared every shift for maximum performance.
